ITEM DESCRIPTION
This is a unique and important antique decorated Menominee
Indian Reservation drum.
The Menominee Indian
Reservation was established in
1854.
The drum shows all the characteristics of natural aging,
and I believe it is very early, and dates from about 1870 to 1880, but
could be even earlier!
ITEM MEASUREMENTS
This measures 10 1/2 inches tall, 20 1/2 inches in
diameter at the top and 18 1/2 inches at the bottom.
This weighs about 13 lbs. (before packing).
